All Time Low is an American rock band. They formed in 2003 in Towson, Maryland. The band members are Alex Gaskarth (lead singer and rhythm guitar), Jack Barakat (lead guitar), Zack Merrick (bass and backing vocals), and Rian Dawson (drums).
The band got their name from a song by another band called New Found Glory. All Time Low is known for touring a lot each year. They have played at many big music festivals. Some of these include Warped Tour, Reading and Leeds, and Soundwave.
All Time Low started playing music while they were still in high school. Their first EP (a mini-album) was called The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End EP. It came out in 2004. Since then, they have released nine studio albums. These include The Party Scene (2005), So Wrong, It's Right (2007), Nothing Personal (2009), Dirty Work (2011), Don't Panic (2012), Future Hearts (2015), Last Young Renegade (2017), Wake Up, Sunshine (2020), and Tell Me I'm Alive (2023). They have also released two live albums.

Band History and Albums
Early Days and First Albums (2003–2008)
All Time Low started in 2003 when the members were in high school. They began by playing cover songs from other pop-punk bands like Blink-182. The first band members were Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, TJ Ihle, Chris Cortilello, and Rian Dawson. Later, Zack Merrick joined on bass, and Alex Gaskarth also started playing guitar.
In 2004, they signed with Emerald Moon Records. They released their EP, The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End EP, that same year. Their first full album, The Party Scene, came out in July 2005.
In 2006, All Time Low signed with Hopeless Records. They released the Put Up or Shut Up EP in July. After finishing high school, the band focused on music full-time. They toured a lot to support their EP.
In 2007, All Time Low played at the Vans Warped Tour. They also played their first live shows in the UK. Their second studio album, So Wrong, It's Right, was released in September 2007. The song "Dear Maria, Count Me In" became their first song to appear on music charts.
In 2008, the band went on their first headlining tour. They also appeared on MTV and played live on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Alternative Press magazine named All Time Low "Band of the Year" in December 2008.
Growing Popularity (2009–2013)
In early 2009, All Time Low started writing songs for their third album. They worked with other artists and producers. They finished recording the album quickly, in just one month. The first song from the album, "Weightless", was released in March 2009. It became popular on the radio around the world.
All Time Low released their third album, Nothing Personal, in July 2009. This album was very successful. It reached No. 4 on the Billboard chart and sold 63,000 copies in its first week. This made it their highest-charting album at that time.
They toured with many bands, including Fall Out Boy and We the Kings. They also played at the Warped Tour 2009. In November 2009, All Time Low signed with a major record label, Interscope Records.
In May 2010, the band released their first live album, Straight to DVD. They continued to tour in Europe and Australia. They also played at the Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK. In March 2010, they released the song "Painting Flowers" for the Almost Alice soundtrack.
All Time Low released their fourth album, Dirty Work, in June 2011. This album was very popular outside the US. It reached No. 13 in Australia and Canada, and No. 20 in the UK. They toured a lot to support this album.
In May 2012, All Time Low left Interscope Records. They released a new song called "The Reckless and the Brave" for free online. In July, they announced they had signed with Hopeless Records again. Their new album, Don't Panic, came out on October 9, 2012. They released songs like "For Baltimore" and "Somewhere in Neverland" before the album.
In September 2013, they re-released the album as Don't Panic: It's Longer Now!. It included new songs and acoustic versions. They toured with Pierce the Veil and A Day To Remember.
New Heights and Recent Music (2014–Present)
In 2014, All Time Low toured the UK and the US. They worked with producer John Feldman on their next album. The album, Future Hearts, was announced in January 2015. The first song from it was "Something's Gotta Give".
Future Hearts was a huge success. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. It sold 75,000 copies in its first week, which was their biggest sales week ever. It also topped the UK Albums Chart. In July 2015, the band won four awards at the Alternative Press Music Awards.
On September 1, 2016, they released a new song called "Take Cover". This song was a bonus track for their second live album, Straight to DVD II: Past, Present, and Future Hearts.
In February 2017, the band announced a new song, "Dirty Laundry". This was their first song after moving to a new record label, Fueled by Ramen. Both "Dirty Laundry" and "Missing You" were singles from their album, Last Young Renegade, which came out on June 2, 2017. They also covered "Longview" by Green Day.
In 2018, All Time Low played at the Vans Warped Tour again. They released new songs called "Everything Is Fine" and "Birthday". In November 2019, they released a new recording of their album Nothing Personal.
In May 2019, All Time Low played at a charity concert for homeless youth in Los Angeles.
On January 1, 2020, the band hinted that a new album was coming. Later that month, they released the song "Some Kind of Disaster". On February 17, 2020, they announced their new album, Wake Up, Sunshine, which was released on April 3, 2020. This album had 15 songs and featured other artists like Blackbear.
In December 2020, their song "Monsters" was re-released with vocals from singer Demi Lovato. Between 2021 and 2022, the band released several new songs. These included "Once In a Lifetime", "PMA" (with Pale Waves), and "Ghost Story" (with Cheat Codes). They also released a pop-punk cover of "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd.
In October 2022, they released a new song called "Sleepwalking". They later released acoustic and remixed versions of this song.
On January 13, 2023, the band announced their ninth studio album, Tell Me I'm Alive. The album was released on March 17, 2023. The title track was also released as a single with a music video.
Musical Style and Influences
All Time Low's music is usually described as pop-punk, pop rock, power pop, emo pop, emo, and alternative rock. The band has said that they are influenced by groups like Blink-182, Green Day, MxPx, New Found Glory, Saves the Day, and The Get Up Kids.
