Allu Arjun (born on April 8, 1982) is a famous Indian actor. He mainly works in Telugu cinema, which is the film industry in the Telugu-speaking states of India. He is one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema. Since 2014, he has been on Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list.

Allu Arjun has won many awards. These include a National Film Award, six Filmfare Awards, and three Nandi Awards. People also know him for his amazing dancing skills. In the media, he is often called "Stylish Star" and "Icon Star."

He started his acting career in 2003 with the movie Gangotri. He became very popular after starring in Sukumar's hit film Arya (2004). For this role, he won a Nandi Special Jury Award. He continued his success with action films like Bunny (2005) and Desamuduru (2007). In 2008, he acted in the romantic drama Parugu, which earned him his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu.

Early Life and Family

Allu Arjun was born on April 8, 1982, in Madras (now Chennai). His family is Telugu. His father, Allu Aravind, is a film producer. His mother is Nirmala. His grandfather was the famous film comedian Allu Ramalingaiah, who acted in over 1000 movies. His family's hometown is Palakollu in West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh.

Arjun is the middle child of three. His older brother, Venkatesh, is a businessman. His younger brother, Sirish, is also an actor. His aunt, Surekha Konidela, is married to the actor Chiranjeevi. This makes him the first cousin of actor Ram Charan.

Arjun grew up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His family later moved to Hyderabad in the 1990s. He went to St. Patrick's School in Chennai. He then earned a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration from MSR College in Hyderabad.

Acting Career

Early Roles and Big Break (1985–2007)

Allu Arjun first appeared as a child actor in Vijetha (1985). He also appeared as a dancer in Daddy (2001). His first main role as an adult was in Gangotri. This film was directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by his father, Allu Aravind. Critics praised his acting in the film.

His next film, Arya, was directed by Sukumar. In this movie, he played Arya, a lively and free-spirited boy. He falls in love with Geetha, a shy girl who is already with someone else. Arya was a huge success and became his breakthrough role. He was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu and won the Nandi Special Jury Award. Major Hits (2014–2020)

In 2014, Allu Arjun had a small but important role in Vamsi Paidipally's action thriller Yevadu. Critics noted how well he acted even in a short appearance. In 2018, his film Naa Peru Surya was released. He played Surya, an Indian Army soldier with anger management issues. Allu Arjun spent a lot of time learning stunts and dance moves for this role. Personal Life

Allu Arjun married Sneha Reddy on March 6, 2011, in Hyderabad. They have two children: a son named Ayaan and a daughter named Arha. Allu Arha made her acting debut in the film Shaakuntalam, playing the role of Prince Bharata. In 2016, Allu Arjun also opened a nightclub called 800 Jubilee.

In 2019, Allu Arjun celebrated Sankranthi in his hometown of Palakollu, Andhra Pradesh. He donated 20 lakh for the development and renovation of the Ksheera Ramalingeswara Temple. The temple used these funds to build new facilities and renovate its chariot.

Awards and Nominations

For Pushpa: The Rise, Allu Arjun won the National Film Award for Best Actor. He has received four Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu for his roles in Parugu, Vedam, Race Gurram, and Pushpa: The Rise. He also won the best actor award at the first Gaddar Film Awards by the Government of Telangana for Pushpa 2: The Rule.
