André Sogliuzzo, born on August 10, 1966, is an American voice actor and comedian. He is famous for lending his voice to many characters in popular cartoons, movies, and video games. You might recognize his voice from shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender and Star Wars: Clone Wars. He also voiced characters in games such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the Spyro series.

André Sogliuzzo has had a busy career, voicing many different characters. He is especially known for stepping in to voice characters when the original actors were not available.

Voicing Puss in Boots

From 2004 to 2015, André was the main voice for Puss in Boots in the Shrek movies and games. He voiced Puss in video games, commercials, and online content. This happened when Antonio Banderas, the original voice of Puss, was busy. André also voiced other characters like Monsieur Hood and Lord Farquaad in some Shrek video games. Later, another actor, Eric Bauza, took over as the main replacement for Puss in Boots.

Working on The Polar Express

In 2003, André Sogliuzzo was chosen by director Robert Zemeckis for the animated movie The Polar Express. He voiced the characters Smokey and Steamer. André took over these roles after the original actor, Michael Jeter, passed away before the movie was released. André recorded new lines and even re-recorded some of Jeter's parts to make sure the voices sounded consistent. He also voiced these characters in the movie's video game.

Voicing Tony Montana in Scarface
