Annarita Sidoti (born 25 July 1969 – died 21 May 2015) was a famous Italian race walker. She was known for her speed and endurance in this athletic sport.

Annarita Sidoti's Life and Career
Annarita Sidoti was born in Gioiosa Marea, a town in Italy. She was a very successful athlete, winning many medals in big international sports events. She was part of the Italian national team for fifteen years, from 1987 to 2002. During this time, she competed in 47 events for her country.
Annarita also took part in three Summer Olympics: in 1992, 1996, and 2000. These are the biggest sports events in the world!
Her Achievements
Annarita Sidoti won many important races. She was especially good at the 10 km and 20 km race walk events. Her personal best times were 41 minutes and 46 seconds for the 10 km race (set in 1994) and 1 hour, 28 minutes, and 38 seconds for the 20 km race (set in 2000). These were very fast times for a race walker!
