In 1997, he was chosen by the Minnesota Vikings in the 1997 NFL draft. He was the 113th player picked overall in the fourth round. He played for the Vikings for four seasons. Antonio Banks also played for several other teams during his professional career. These teams were in leagues like NFL Europe and the Canadian Football League.

Antonio Banks' Coaching Career

After his playing days, Antonio Banks started coaching football. In 2006, he became the head coach for the Alphen Eagles. This team was based in Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands, and played in the European Football League.

Later, in 2016, he took on another head coach role. He coached the Cairo Bears, a team in the Egyptian Federation of American football. In 2017, Antonio Banks joined IMG Academy.
