Antrel Rocelious Rolle (born December 16, 1982) is a former American football player. He was a cornerback and safety in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, where he was recognized as an unanimous All-American. The Arizona Cardinals chose him as the eighth player overall in the 2005 NFL draft. Rolle also played for the Chicago Bears and the New York Giants. He won Super Bowl XLVI with the Giants in 2011, beating the New England Patriots.

Early Life and High School Football

Antrel Rolle was born in Homestead, Florida. He went to South Dade High School in Homestead. There, he was a star player for the South Dade Buccaneers high school football team.

  • As a junior, he had three interceptions and 85 tackles.

Starting His NFL Career

Rolle signed a six-year contract with the Cardinals. He started as a cornerback in his first season. In his debut game, he made one tackle. He had a season-high 11 tackles in Week 3.
