Where is Aransas Pass Located?

Aransas Pass sits on the edge of Redfish Bay. This bay is a body of water that connects to Corpus Christi Bay in the south and Aransas Bay in the north. The city is on the mainland of Texas. It is linked to Mustang Island, where the city of Port Aransas is, by a long causeway. There is also a free ferry that takes cars to the island.

If you travel by Texas State Highway 35 and U.S. Route 181, Aransas Pass is about 20 miles northeast of Corpus Christi.
