Early Life and Learning Music
Augustin Hadelich was born in Cecina, Tuscany, Italy. His parents were German. His two older brothers already played music. Augustin started learning the violin at age five. His father, who played the cello as a hobby, taught him.
As he grew up, Augustin learned from many famous violinists. They gave him lessons and special classes. He was a very talented young musician. He was known as a "wunderkind" because he was so good at violin, piano, and even composing music in Germany.
In 1999, Augustin had an accident on his family's farm in Italy. He was hurt but recovered well after treatment in Germany. After getting better, he finished his music studies in Italy. He then got into The Juilliard School in New York, a very famous music school.
