Albion Township is a place in Calhoun County, Michigan, in the United States. It is a type of local government area called a civil township. This township is part of the larger Battle Creek, Michigan area. In 2020, about 1,094 people lived there.

History of Albion Township
Albion Township was created a long time ago, in 1837. It was formed from a part of another township called Homer Township.
Communities in Albion Township
The city of Albion is right next to the township's northern border. However, the city of Albion is a separate place with its own government. It is not part of the township's administration.
There are two small places within Albion Township that have names:
- Babcock is located about 2 miles (3.2 km) southwest of Albion city. It is just west of the south branch of the Kalamazoo River. A small airfield called Midway Airport is also nearby. This area is about 959 feet (292 meters) above sea level.
- Condit is about 4 miles (6.4 km) southwest of Albion city. It is also about 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Homer.

Albion Township covers a total area of about 33.05 square miles (85.6 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 32.63 square miles (84.5 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 0.39 square miles (1.0 square kilometer), is water. Water makes up about 1.22% of the township's total area.
