Barry Keoghan (born 18 October 1992) is a famous actor from Ireland. He has won many awards, like a BAFTA Award. He has also been nominated for an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. In 2020, he was named one of Ireland's greatest film actors by The Irish Times.
Barry Keoghan started acting in 2011. He became well-known in 2017 for his roles in the war film Dunkirk and the drama The Killing of a Sacred Deer. He also earned praise for his acting in the Irish crime film Calm with Horses (2019) and the fantasy film The Green Knight (2021). He joined big superhero movies as Druig in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Eternals (2021).

Barry Keoghan grew up in Summerhill, Dublin, Ireland. He and his brother, Eric, spent seven years in foster care. During this time, they lived in 13 different foster homes.
Acting Career
Starting Out
Keoghan began acting in 2011. He saw a casting notice in a shop window for the film Between the Canals. He got a small role in the movie, which came out that same year. When he was 18, he appeared in the Irish soap opera Fair City. In 2013, Keoghan played Wayne in the TV show Love/Hate. This role made him well-known in Ireland. After that, he acted in films like '71 (2014) and Mammal (2016).

In 2017, Keoghan was in two major films. He played George Mills in Dunkirk. He also starred as Martin Lang in The Killing of a Sacred Deer with Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman. Barry Keoghan enjoys boxing as a hobby. He is also a big fan of the football team Manchester United. He appeared in a promotional video for the club's new uniform with his second cousin, Frank Stapleton. Barry Keoghan has one son, who was born in August 2022.
