Bolivar is a city located in Hardeman County, Tennessee, in the United States. It's the main town, also known as the county seat, for Hardeman County. The city got its name from Simón Bolívar, a famous leader from South America who helped many countries gain their freedom.
According to the 2020 United States Census, about 5,205 people lived in Bolivar. The city has its own airport, called William L. Whitehurst Field.
