Brandon Moore is currently the head coach for the San Diego Toreros football team at the University of San Diego. He started his professional playing career in 2002 with the San Francisco 49ers. Playing for the San Francisco 49ers
Brandon Moore joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2002. He was not chosen in the main NFL draft, but the 49ers signed him as a "free agent." This means he was picked up by the team after the draft.
In 2006, Brandon Moore had a great season. He started 11 games and was the team leader in tackles, which means he stopped the most opposing players. He also had 6.5 sacks, which is when a player tackles the opposing quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. He played both inside and outside linebacker for the 49ers. He left the team in August 2008.
Short Stays with Other Teams
After leaving the 49ers, Brandon Moore briefly joined the Arizona Cardinals in August 2008. However, he was released later that month before the regular season began.

Brandon Moore worked for the Colorado Mines Orediggers for several years. He started as a defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. A defensive coordinator is like the main planner for the team's defense.
In February 2022, Brandon Moore was promoted to head coach of the Colorado Mines Orediggers. In his first season as head coach, he led the team to an amazing undefeated season in their conference, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. They also made it all the way to the championship game of the NCAA Division II playoffs, though they lost to Ferris State. Because of his great coaching, he was named the AFCA Coach of the Year for Division II in 2022.
Coaching at San Diego
On April 19, 2023, Brandon Moore was hired as the head coach for the University of San Diego Toreros team. He continues to lead the Toreros today.
Personal Life
Brandon Moore is the younger brother of Rob Moore, who was also a professional football player and a wide receiver in the NFL.
