Briana Evigan (born October 23, 1986) is an American actress and dancer. She is well-known for her roles in the Step Up movies and for starring in many scary films. She was born in Los Angeles, California. Her father, Greg Evigan, is an actor, and her mother, Pamela, is a dancer and choreographer.
Briana started dancing and acting when she was young. She went to Los Angeles Valley College and studied speech and communication. She became a professional dancer and appeared in many music videos, like "Numb" by Linkin Park in 2003.
She also began acting in small roles in films such as Bottom's Up (2006). Her big break came when she played Andrea "Andie" West in the dance movie Step Up 2: The Streets (2008). Since then, she has been known for her roles in horror and thriller movies. These include S. Darko (2009), Sorority Row (2009), Burning Bright (2010), and Mother's Day (2010). She also appeared in The Devil's Carnival (2012) and From Dusk till Dawn: The Series (2015).

Briana Evigan was born in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are Pamela C. Serpe, who was a dancer, model, and actress, and actor Greg Evigan. She has Polish and Italian family roots. Briana is the youngest of three children. Her older siblings are her brother Jason and sister Vanessa.
She has been studying dance since she was nine years old. Briana is also a singer and plays keyboards in a music group called Moorish Idol. She studied speech and communication at Los Angeles Valley College. She lives in Los Angeles, California.
Her Career in Movies and TV
As a professional dancer, Briana has been in music videos for popular artists like Linkin Park, Flo Rida, T-Pain, and Enrique Iglesias. She also had small acting parts in TV shows and movies such as Bottom's Up and Fear Itself.
In 2008, Briana got a main role as Andie West in Step Up 2: The Streets. This was the sequel to the dance movie Step Up. The movie was filmed in Baltimore and came out on February 14, 2008. It was very popular and earned a lot of money worldwide. Briana and her co-star Robert Hoffman won the Best Kiss Award at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards for their scene in the film.
In 2009, she starred in S. Darko, which was a sequel to the movie Donnie Darko. Briana played Corey, the best friend of the main character, Samantha Darko. The movie was released directly to DVD.
Later in 2009, Briana played Cassidy Tappan in the horror film Sorority Row. She starred alongside Audrina Patridge, Rumer Willis, and Jamie Chung. The movie was released on September 11, 2009. Briana and the other main actresses won a ShoWest Award for "Female Stars of Tomorrow" in April 2009.
In 2010, Briana played the main character, Kelly Taylor, in the movie Burning Bright. In this film, a young woman and her brother are trapped in their house with a tiger during a hurricane. The movie was released directly to DVD.
She also starred in a remake of the horror film Mother's Day. This movie was directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, who had worked with Briana before. The film was released in 2012.
Briana also appeared in The Devil's Carnival, a short film that went on a tour to 30 cities. She later returned for its sequel, The Devil's Carnival: Alleluia!, which came out in 2015.
In 2014, Briana played Andie West again in Step Up: All In, the fifth movie in the Step Up series. She was also in Love Is All You Need? as Jude.
In 2015, Briana joined the TV series From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series. She played Sonja, a tattoo artist who also helps people get fake papers. The show started airing on August 25, 2015.
In 2023, Briana worked with Veldskoen Shoes, a shoe brand from South Africa, to create special "MoveMe" Ranger boots.
