Briana Evigan is an American actress and dancer. She was born on October 23, 1986. She is famous for her main roles in the dance movies Step Up 2: The Streets (2008) and Step Up: All In (2014). In these films, she played a character named Andie West.
Briana has also appeared in many thriller movies. Some of these include S. Darko (2009) and Sorority Row (2009). She also had a role in the TV series From Dusk till Dawn: The Series in 2015.

Briana Evigan was born in Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Pamela C. Serpe, was a dancer and actress. Her father, Greg Evigan, is also an actor. Briana has Polish and Italian family roots.
She is the youngest of three children. Her older sister is Vanessa Lee Evigan and her brother is Jason Evigan. Briana started learning to dance when she was nine years old. She also sings and plays keyboards in a music group called Moorish Idol. In October 2023, she married Damien Mander. They have one son, who was born in 2022.

Briana Evigan is a professional dancer. She has appeared in music videos for popular artists. These include Linkin Park, Flo Rida, and Enrique Iglesias. She also had small roles in TV shows and movies.
Her Big Break in Step Up 2
In 2008, Briana got a major role. She played Andie West in Step Up 2: The Streets. This movie was a sequel to the 2006 dance film Step Up. Filming for the movie happened in Baltimore in late 2007.
The movie was released on February 14, 2008. Even though some critics did not like it, the film was very successful. It earned over $148 million around the world. Briana and her co-star, Robert Hoffman, won an award. They received the Best Kiss Award at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.

In 2009, Briana appeared in S. Darko. This movie was a sequel to the 2001 film Donnie Darko. Briana played Corey, who was Samantha Darko's best friend. The movie was released directly to DVD.
Later in 2009, Briana starred in Sorority Row. This was a remake of an older horror film. She played the main character, Cassidy Tappan. The movie was released on September 11, 2009. It earned over $26 million worldwide. Critics had mixed feelings about the movie. However, many people praised Briana's acting. She and her female co-stars won an award. They received the "Female Stars of Tomorrow" award in April 2009.
In 2010, Briana starred in Burning Bright. She played Kelly Taylor. In this movie, a young woman and her brother are trapped in their house. A tiger is also inside during a hurricane. Critics really liked this film. It was released directly to DVD.
Briana also appeared in a remake of the horror film Mother's Day. This movie was directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. He had worked with Briana before on an episode of Fear Itself. The film was released on DVD and Blu-ray in May 2012.
