Buryat cuisine is the traditional food of the Buryats. They are a group of Mongolic people who mostly live in the Buryat Republic and near Lake Baikal in Russia. Most Buryat dishes are made with lamb or beef. However, fish dishes are also very popular, especially around Lake Baikal. The Buryats also make many different dairy products. Buryat food is simple and filling, and they don't use a lot of spices. Just like the Mongols, Buryats are famous for their Buuz, which are a type of steamed dumpling.

- Buuzy (Бузы) are also called Pozy. In Mongolia, they are known as Buuz. These are dumplings filled with meat, usually a mix of lamb or beef with onions. They are cooked by steaming.
