The Cadence Bank Arena is a large building in Tupelo, Mississippi. It's a "multi-purpose" arena, which means it can be used for many different kinds of events. It has seats for up to 10,000 people!
This arena has had a few different names over the years. It started as Tupelo Coliseum. Later, it was known as BancorpSouth Center and BancorpSouth Arena. Today, it's named after the local Cadence Bank.
The arena opened in 1993. It was built on the spot where a shopping mall used to be. The old mall closed in 1990, and the arena was created from that space. It cost about $16 million to build.
Over the years, many sports teams have called this arena home. These include the Tupelo FireAnts and Mississippi MudCats for arena football. Ice hockey teams like the Tupelo T-Rex also played here. Soccer teams, like the Tupelo Hound Dogs, used the arena too.
