The Carolina Country Music Fest (CCMF) is a super fun outdoor country music festival! It happens every June in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. A company called Full House Productions started this festival in 2015.
CCMF takes place right on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. It's held at the Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place, which used to be the old Myrtle Beach Pavilion site. This festival is usually three days long, from Friday to Sunday. But it kicks off with a special concert on Thursday evening!
When it first started in 2015, over 20,000 people came to enjoy the music. By 2017, that number grew to 30,000! In 2020, the festival had to be canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But it came back strong in 2021, with about 35,000 people attending. It has even sold out tickets for two years in a row (2021 and 2022)!
The Carolina Country Music Fest covers a huge area, about 18 acres! It stretches from the boardwalk all the way to Ocean Boulevard. In 2021, they even added a fifth stage. This allowed more artists to perform and more fans to enjoy the shows. Some of the stages include the Coors Light Main Stage and the Crown Royal Stage.
