Where is Casnovia Township?
Casnovia Township is in the eastern part of Muskegon County, Michigan. It shares borders with Newaygo County to the north. Kent County is to its east, and Ottawa County is to its south.
The center of the township is about 20 miles (32 km) east of Muskegon. Muskegon is the main city and county seat. It is also about 25 miles (40 km) north-northwest of Grand Rapids.
Land and Water in Casnovia
The township covers a total area of about 35.8 square miles (92.7 km²). Most of this area, about 35.6 square miles (92.2 km²), is land. A small part, about 0.2 square miles (0.5 km²), is water.
Crockery Creek flows through the western side of the township. This creek runs south and eventually joins the Grand River.

Casnovia Township is home to a few smaller communities.
- The village of Casnovia is partly located within the township. You can find it where two main roads, M-46 and M-37, meet.
- Bailey is another community in the township. It is an unincorporated community, meaning it does not have its own local government like a village or city. Bailey is on M-37 in the northeast corner of the township. Its ZIP code is 49303. A post office was first set up in Bailey in 1872. Most of northern Casnovia Township, including Bailey, is part of the Grant Public School District.
