A Look Back in Time

Centenary Heights got its name in 1960. Before that, it was part of a nearby area called Middle Ridge. The name "Centenary Heights" celebrates a big event: 100 years since Queensland became its own separate state in 1859. This means it stopped being part of New South Wales.
