Playing for the Duke Blue Devils

In his second year, Duhon continued to play alongside Jason Williams. He became known for his strong defense and ability to see the court well. He averaged 2.3 steals and 5.9 assists per game that season.
From his junior year onwards, Duhon became a very important leader for the Blue Devils. In the 2002–2003 season, he guided a young Duke team to the Sweet 16. He averaged 9.2 points, 6.4 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.

During his four years, Duke had an impressive record of 123 wins and 21 losses. This made Duhon the second winningest player in Duke and Atlantic Coast Conference history. He also helped the Blue Devils win three ACC Championships.
Chris Duhon's NBA Career
Starting with the Chicago Bulls (2004–2008)
In June 2004, the Chicago Bulls picked Chris Duhon as the 38th player in the 2004 NBA draft. In his first year with the Bulls, Duhon played in all 82 games. He averaged 5.9 points and 4.9 assists per game. One of his best games was against the Atlanta Hawks, where he scored 24 points and made 8 of 9 three-point shots. This was a team record at the time. The Bulls kept Duhon for the 2005–06 season. That year, he averaged 8.7 points and 5.0 assists per game.
Duhon played a big part in the Bulls winning their first playoff series since the Michael Jordan era. They swept the Miami Heat in four games. Duhon often came off the bench but played many important minutes in that series.
After the Bulls were down 3–0 in another playoff series, Duhon continued to play well. He made a key three-pointer in Game 4. In a later easy win in Game 5, Duhon scored 8 points.
Later, a trade brought new players to the Bulls, but Duhon still found his way back into the team's main rotation. He continued to be a strong player who could lead the team on the court. On February 7, 2008, Duhon scored a career-high 34 points against the Golden State Warriors. He also had 9 assists, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, and 4 three-pointers in that game.
Moving to the New York Knicks (2008–2010)
On July 4, 2008, Duhon signed a two-year deal to play for the New York Knicks. He was seen as a possible replacement for Stephon Marbury. On November 29, 2008, Duhon set a new Knicks record with 22 assists in a single game against the Golden State Warriors.
