Clarens-Montreux, often just called Clarens, is a lively neighborhood in the town of Montreux, located in the Vaud region of Switzerland. It's the largest and most populated part of Montreux.

Clarens became famous across Europe thanks to the very popular book La Nouvelle Héloïse by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. This book helped put Clarens on the map!
