What the Movie is About
The story follows a middle school girl named Emily Elizabeth. She is having a tough time fitting in at home and at school. One day, she finds a small red puppy. This puppy is given to her by a magical animal rescuer. Emily doesn't know it yet, but this puppy is meant to be her best friend.
Then, something amazing happens! The little puppy, Clifford, grows into a giant red dog. He becomes super huge right inside Emily's New York City apartment. This giant dog quickly gets the attention of a company. This company wants to make animals super big for their own reasons.
Emily and her funny Uncle Casey must protect Clifford. They go on an adventure across New York City. They try to escape the greedy company. Along the way, Clifford touches the lives of everyone he meets. He teaches Emily and her uncle important lessons. They learn about accepting others and loving without limits. Clifford shows the world how to love in a big way!
