Clotilde Courau (born 3 April 1969) is a talented French actress. She is also known as the Princess of Venice. This is because she is married to Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia. He is a member of the House of Savoy, a very old royal family. His grandfather, Umberto II, was the last king of Italy.

Clotilde Marie Pascale Courau was born on April 3, 1969. Her birthplace was Levallois-Perret, in France. Her father, Jean-Claude Courau, was an engineer. Her mother, Catherine Marie Antoinette du Pontavice des Renardières, was a school teacher.
