The Cuba men's national volleyball team is a group of talented athletes who represent Cuba in international volleyball games. They are often called Los leones del voleibol cubano, which means "Lions of Cuban volleyball." The team is managed by the Federación Cubana De Voleibol.
Cuba's team has a strong history in volleyball. They won their first bronze medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics. In major international competitions organized by FIVB, they have won gold medals in the World Cup, World Grand Champions Cup, World League, and Challenger Cup. They also have two silver and two bronze medals from the World Championship. The Cuban team has won the NORCECA Championship an amazing 16 times, even winning six times in a row!

Olympic Games History
The team has participated in the Olympic Games several times. Their best performance was winning a Bronze medal in 1976. They also reached 4th place in 1992.
World Championship Success
In the World Championship, Cuba has earned two Silver medals in 1990 and 2010. They also won Bronze medals in 1978 and 1998.
World Cup Victories
The Cuban team achieved a fantastic Gold medal at the 1989 World Cup. They also secured Silver medals in 1981, 1991, and 1999, along with a Bronze medal in 1977.
World Grand Champions Cup
Cuba won a Gold medal at the 2001 World Grand Champions Cup. They also took home a Silver medal in 2009 and two Bronze medals in 1993 and 1997.
World League and Nations League
The team won a Gold medal in the 1998 World League. They have also earned five Silver medals and three Bronze medals in this competition. More recently, they competed in the Nations League, placing 9th in 2024.
Challenger Cup Achievements
Cuba won the Gold medal at the 2022 Challenger Cup and a Silver medal in 2019.
NORCECA Championship Dominance
The Cuban team has been incredibly successful in the NORCECA Championship, winning the Gold medal 16 times! Their most recent gold was in 2019, and they earned a Bronze medal in 2023.
Pan American Games and Cup
Cuba has won many medals at the Pan American Games. They have five Gold medals (1971, 1975, 1979, 1991, 1999), five Silver medals (1983, 1987, 2003, 2011, 2019), and three Bronze medals (1967, 1995, 2007). In the Pan-American Cup, they have four Gold medals (2014, 2016, 2019, 2022) and three Bronze medals (2007, 2017, 2018).
Central American and Caribbean Games
The team has a long history of success in the Central American and Caribbean Games, winning many Gold medals, including the most recent one in 2023.
