Culoz is a small town in France. It's located in the Ain department. This area is part of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Until January 1, 2023, Culoz was its own commune. Now, it's part of a new, bigger commune called Culoz-Béon.

Culoz sits on the right side of the Rhône River. This river is very famous in France. The town is only a few kilometers from the start of the Alps mountains. A huge mountain called the Grand Colombier stands over Culoz. It's the highest peak in the southern part of the Jura mountains.
Culoz is also an important place for travel. It's located near the D904 road. This road crosses the D992. Culoz also has a busy railway station. Trains from Culoz can take you to many cities.
