Daneliya Tuleshova (Kazakh: Данэлия Төлешова, born on 18 July 2006) is a talented singer from Kazakhstan. She became well-known for representing her country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. She sang her song "Ózińe sen" in Minsk, Belarus, and finished in sixth place.
Before Junior Eurovision, Daneliya won the fourth season of The Voice Kids Ukraine. She was also a finalist in a competition called Children's New Wave in 2015. In 2019, she joined The World's Best TV show. She also reached the finals of season 15 of America's Got Talent.

Early life
Daneliya Tuleshova was born on 18 July 2006 in Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan. Her parents are Elena and Alexander Tuleshov. They come from families with both Kazakh and Tatar backgrounds. Daneliya has two younger brothers and sisters.
When she was four years old, Daneliya started practicing ballroom dancing. This was after she recovered from a gymnastics injury. She also took modern dance classes in Almaty. At the same time, she attended acting and singing lessons. In late 2018, she was in sixth grade at a special school for physics and mathematics. Even though she was born in Astana, Daneliya has said that Almaty is her hometown.
Career
How her singing career began

When Daneliya was eight years old, people noticed her talent. The organizers of a Kazakh singing competition called Ayaglagan Astana saw her. This competition was a way to choose singers for the famous Children's New Wave. This is an international contest for young performers held every year in Russia. In 2015, Daneliya won Ayaglagan Astana. She then made it to the finals of Children's New Wave, where she won the Audience Award.
2017–2018: The Voice Kids Ukraine and Junior Eurovision
In January 2017, Daneliya took part in an international singing competition called Hopes of Europe. She won the top prize there. Later that year, she tried out for the fourth season of The Voice Kids Ukraine. For her audition, she sang "Stone Cold" by Demi Lovato. All three coaches wanted her on their team. She chose Monatik as her coach. She did very well in the show and reached the grand final. There, she sang "Ne tvoya viyna" and was announced as the winner. She was only 10 years old. At that time, she was the first winner who was not from Ukraine.

In March 2018, Daneliya won the Glimpse into the Future Award. This was at the first International Professional Music Premium Bravo Awards in Moscow. After getting her award, she performed the song "Je veux" with French singer Zaz.
On 22 September 2018, Daneliya was chosen to represent Kazakhstan. She went to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Minsk, Belarus. Her song was "Ózińe sen". She wrote it with Artyom Kuz'menkov and Kamila Dairova. Ivan Lopukhov composed the music. In the final, she performed third. She received 171 points in total. This included points from international judges and public votes. She finished in sixth place. An English version of her song, called Seize the Time, came out on 21 October 2018.
2019: The World's Best
In 2019, Daneliya tried out for an American TV talent show called The World's Best. She sang "Rise Up" by Andra Day. In the battle rounds, she won against Manami Ito from Japan. This allowed her to move to the champion rounds. There, she sang "What About Us". She was eliminated from the competition but made it into the top 8.
2020: Da NeL and America's Got Talent
In February 2020, Daneliya announced a new music project. She would use the stage name "Da NeL". Her first song as "Da NeL" was "хзчздз". It came out on YouTube on 4 February 2020. Her second song, "Мой день" (My Day), came out in April 2020. Other songs like "OMG" and "FIRE" followed in May and June 2020.
In June, she auditioned for America's Got Talent. She sang "Tears of Gold" by Faouzia. All the judges, Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel, said yes. Faouzia herself praised Daneliya's performance. Daneliya moved on to the live shows. She sang "Sign of the Times" by Harry Styles. She made it to the Semifinals and then to the Finals. For her final performance, she sang "Alive" by Sia. She did not make it into the top 5, finishing in 6th place.
2021: Signing with 4 Chords Records and new music
In May 2021, it was announced that Daneliya Tuleshova signed with an American music label called '4 Chords Records'. She became their main artist. Her first song with this label was "Like You Used To". It quickly gained over 100,000 plays on music streaming sites.
