Daniel Leroy Baldwin (born October 5, 1960) is an American actor and director. He is known for his roles in movies and TV shows. Daniel is the second oldest of the four Baldwin brothers, who are all actors.
He is especially recognized for playing Detective Beau Felton in the TV series Homicide: Life on the Street. Daniel Baldwin has also appeared in films like Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991) and Vampires (1998).
From 2017 to 2019, he hosted The Daniel Baldwin Show on radio station WTLA in Syracuse. He has also been a host for the television series truTV Presents: World's Dumbest.

Early Life and Family Background
Daniel Baldwin was born in Massapequa, New York. His mother, Carol Newcomb, was a breast cancer survivor. She started the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Care Center at Stony Brook University Hospital. His father, Alexander Rae Baldwin Jr., was a high school history teacher and football coach.
Daniel grew up in a Catholic family. He has Irish and French family roots. Besides his three actor brothers, Alec, William, and Stephen, Daniel also has two sisters.

Early Roles in Film and Television
Daniel Baldwin started his acting career in 1988. His first role was in the TV movie Too Good to Be True. After that, he appeared in films like Born on the Fourth of July (1989). He also acted in Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991) and Hero (1992).
In 1990, he joined the cast of the TV sitcom Sydney. This show also starred Valerie Bertinelli.
Becoming a TV Star
In 1993, Daniel Baldwin got a big role in the police TV show Homicide: Life on the Street. He played a detective in this show, which was set in Baltimore. He received good reviews for his performance.
He left the show in 1995 after three seasons. His character was later written out of the series. After Homicide, he acted in TV movies such as Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman and Family of Cops. He also appeared in feature films like Mulholland Falls and Trees Lounge in 1996.

Daniel Baldwin has six children. He has a daughter named Kahlea (born 1984) with his first wife, Cheryl. With his second wife, Elizabeth, he has another daughter named Alexandra (born 1994).
After his second divorce, Daniel had a long relationship with his Homicide: Life on the Street co-star, Isabella Hofmann. They have a son together named Atticus (born 1996). Atticus is named after a character from the book To Kill a Mockingbird.
Daniel later married Joanne Smith, a former British model. They had two daughters: Avis Ann (born 2008) and Finley Rae Martineau Baldwin (born 2009). Although they tried to reconcile after filing for divorce, they divorced in 2012.
In 2014, Daniel Baldwin announced his engagement to Robin Sue Hertz Hempel. She is an entrepreneur. They ended their engagement in 2020. On December 31, 2022, Daniel married D'Asia Bellamy in Italy. Their first child, a son named William "Bat" Baldwin, was born on June 1, 2023.
In June 2017, Daniel Baldwin moved to Cleveland, New York. This move allowed him to be closer to his extended family. He worked at radio station WTLA in Syracuse from September 2017 to April 2019.
