Daniel Baldwin, born on October 5, 1960, is an American actor. He is one of the famous Baldwin brothers, all of whom are actors. Many people know him best for playing Detective Beau Felton in the TV show Homicide: Life on the Street. He also appeared in movies like Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991) and Vampires (1998).
From 2017 to 2019, he hosted The Daniel Baldwin Show on radio station WTLA in Syracuse. He has also been a host for the TV series truTV Presents: World's Dumbest.

Growing Up: Daniel Baldwin's Early Life
Baldwin was born in Massapequa, New York. His mother, Carol Newcomb, survived breast cancer and started the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Care Center. His father, Alexander Rae Baldwin, Jr., was a high school teacher and football coach.
Daniel grew up in a Catholic family. He has Irish and French family roots. He has three brothers who are also actors: Alec Baldwin (born 1958), William Baldwin (born 1963), and Stephen Baldwin (born 1966). He also has two sisters.
Daniel Baldwin's Acting Career
Starting Out in Acting
Daniel Baldwin began his acting career in 1988. His first role was in the TV movie Too Good to Be True. After that, he appeared in films like Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991). In 1990, he joined the TV sitcom Sydney.
Becoming a TV Star: Homicide: Life on the Street
In 1993, Baldwin got a big role in the police TV show Homicide: Life on the Street. He played Detective Beau Felton. He received good reviews for his work on the show. He left the series in 1995 after three seasons. His character was later written out of the show.
After Homicide, he acted in TV movies such as Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman and Family of Cops. He also appeared in the 1996 movies Mulholland Falls and Trees Lounge.
Later Roles and Special Appearances
Baldwin continued to appear in many TV shows and movies. He returned to play Beau Felton in Homicide: The Movie in 2000. He also acted in TV movies like Anonymous Rex (2004) and Our Fathers (2005).
In 2008, Baldwin played Julius Krug in the HBO film Grey Gardens. That same year, he became a frequent commentator on truTV's The Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest....
In 2010, Baldwin was part of a documentary called 1 a Minute. This film was about breast cancer survivors. In 2014, he won an award for Best Supporting Actor at the Madrid International Film Festival. This was for his role in the movie Helen Alone.

- On August 27, 2015, Baldwin became a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK. He was the first person voted off the show after nine days.
Daniel Baldwin's Family Life
Daniel Baldwin has six children. He has a daughter named Kahlea (born 1984) with his first wife, Cheryl. With his second wife, Elizabeth, he has a daughter named Alexandra (born 1994).
He also has a son, Atticus (born 1996), with his Homicide: Life on the Street co-star, Isabella Hofmann. Atticus is named after a character from the book To Kill a Mockingbird.
Daniel later married Joanne Smith, a former model. They have two daughters: Avis Ann (born 2008) and Finley Rae Martineau Baldwin (born 2009). In 2022, Baldwin married D'Asia Bellamy in Italy. Their son, William "Bat" Baldwin, was born in June 2023.
In June 2017, Baldwin moved to Cleveland, New York, to be closer to his family.
