- In Week 3, he sang "Celebration" and continued in the show.

Being Part of One True Voice
Daniel Pearce became a member of One True Voice, a British boy band formed on the ITV show Popstars: The Rivals. The public voted each week to choose their favorite singers for the group. The band, also known as OTV, included Daniel, Anton Gordon, Matt Johnson, Keith Semple, and Jamie Shaw.
Their first song, "Sacred Trust/After You're Gone", was released in December 2002. It competed against Girls Aloud for the Christmas number one spot. One True Voice reached number 2 on the charts, while Girls Aloud got the top spot. The band had one more top 10 hit with "Shakespeare's (Way With) Words", which reached number 10 in the UK in June 2003.
A few weeks later, Daniel Pearce decided to leave the group to start his own solo career. He had helped arrange and write some of their songs. The day after he left, the band officially broke up.
After One True Voice
After One True Voice disbanded, Daniel Pearce took on the lead role in Jailhouse Rock, a musical in London's West End. He also sang backing vocals for the artist Craig David. Daniel continued to perform as a musician and singer at various events.
