Where is Danville Located?
Danville village is in the western part of Caledonia County. It is south of the very center of the town of Danville.
Traveling Through Danville
A main road, U.S. Route 2, goes right through the village. If you travel east on this road, you will reach St. Johnsbury in about 8 miles (13 km). If you go southwest, you will get to Montpelier, Vermont's capital city, which is about 27 miles (43 km) away.
Rivers and Streams
The village of Danville has several small waterways. Water from the village flows south into Brown Brook. Brown Brook then joins Joes Brook. Another stream, Water Andric, flows east from the village. Both Joes Brook and Water Andric flow southeast into the Passumpsic River. The Passumpsic River then flows south and joins the Connecticut River.
