Diablo is a small community in Contra Costa County, California, United States. Its name comes from the Spanish word for "Devil." This area is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's a community that looks like a town but isn't officially governed by its own local city government. Diablo is located about 2.5 miles (4 km) east-northeast of Danville. In 2020, about 1,255 people lived here.
