Dominika Mirgová's Music Journey
How It All Started
Dominika Mirgová began her music journey when she was 15 years old. She took part in the third season of Slovensko hľadá SuperStar. This show is like the British TV show Pop Idol. Dominika did very well and finished in second place.
One year later, she released her first album. It was called Dominika Mirgová.
In October 2013, Dominika worked with rapper Suveren. They recorded a special song called "Musím Mej Nádej". This song helped the Kvapka Nádej Foundation. A music video was also made for the song. Later that year, she sang with Miro Jaroš on the song "Bugs". This song was for the Slovak version of a French animated movie. The movie was called Bugs: The Valley of the Lost Ants.

After her successful album Nová, Dominika started working on her third album. It was named Armáda. The first song from this album was "Vám". This was the first time Dominika wrote the lyrics herself. She said she wrote the song for her fans. She wanted to thank them for inspiring her. She also included a message for people who didn't support her.
Another song for the album was "Hore". This song quickly got more than 430,000 views online. Many people watched it in just eight days. Some people really liked the song, while others had different opinions about it.
In December 2014, Dominika released a Christmas song. It was called "Šťastné a veselé" (which means "Happy and Merry"). The music video for this song was simple. It showed her singing in a studio with musicians. Marek Danko played the piano, and Peter Fajta played the violin.
After taking a break, Dominika returned to music in October 2015. She released the song "Závislí" (meaning "Dependent"). She worked with DJ Róbert Burian on this song.

In November 2014, Dominika shared some exciting news. She announced that she was going to have a baby. She confirmed the news on her Facebook page.
In April 2015, Dominika gave birth to her son. She named him Peter. Later that same year, in August, she got married. Her husband's name is Peter Zvolenský.
