Donkey Kong 3 is an exciting arcade video game created by Nintendo in 1984. It's the third game in the popular Donkey Kong arcade series. Later, a version was made for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986. You could also play it again on the Wii Virtual Console in 2008 and 2009.
How to Play Donkey Kong 3
In Donkey Kong 3, the big ape, Donkey Kong, is hiding in Stanley's greenhouse. Stanley is a bugman. He needs to stop insects from ruining his beautiful flowers. He does this by spraying them with bug spray.
Your Goal in the Game
Your main goal is to shoot Donkey Kong with bug spray. This forces him to climb higher up the vine he is on. While you do this, you also need to kill the insects. When Donkey Kong reaches the very top of the vine, you win the stage. You can also clear a stage by defeating all the insects. This also makes Donkey Kong go to the top.
Special Bug Spray
At the start of some stages, Stanley can find a special bug spray. This spray lets him push Donkey Kong up the vine much faster. It appears on one of Donkey Kong's vines. Donkey Kong drops it when he reaches that spot on the vine. Be careful, though! This special spray only lasts for a limited number of shots.
