Duvin (German: Duvin ), Romansh: Duin ) is a small village in the Graubünden canton of Switzerland. It used to be its own municipality, which is like a small town with its own local government.
On January 1, 2014, Duvin joined with several other nearby villages. They all became part of a new, bigger municipality called Ilanz/Glion.

A Look Back in Time
Duvin has a long history! The village was first written about around the year 840. Back then, it was called Auna.
Later, in 1290, its name changed slightly to Aiuns.
Where is Duvin?
Duvin is located in the Surselva district of Switzerland. It sits on a high area above the right side of the Lugnez valley.
The village is separated from other places like Camuns and Pitasch by deep canyons. Before it joined with other towns, Duvin covered an area of about 17.9 square kilometers (6.9 square miles).

- Forests cover 40% of the area.
- Only 1% has buildings or roads.
- The rest (37%) is made up of non-productive land like rivers or mountains.
