Elizabeth Mitchell (born Elizabeth Joanna Robertson; March 27, 1970) is an American actress. She is famous for her roles in many TV shows and movies. You might know her as Juliet Burke from the mystery show Lost. She also played important parts in V, Revolution, and as Mrs. Claus in The Santa Clauses series.
Elizabeth has also appeared in popular movies like Frequency and The Santa Clause 2.

About Elizabeth Mitchell
Her Early Life and Education
Elizabeth Mitchell was born in Los Angeles, California. When she was very young, she moved to Dallas, Texas, with her mother. Her mother later married Joseph Mitchell, who became Elizabeth's stepfather. Both her mother and stepfather were lawyers in Dallas.
Elizabeth went to Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. This special school helps students learn about acting and other arts. After high school, she studied acting at Stephens College, where she earned a degree. She also trained at the British American Drama Academy.
Starting Her Acting Journey
Elizabeth began her acting career in theater, performing for six years at the Dallas Theater Center. Her first TV role was on the soap opera Loving in the mid-1990s.
She then started appearing in movies. In 2000, she was in the film Frequency. A couple of years later, in 2002, she took on the role of Carol Newman in The Santa Clause 2. Her character became Mrs. Claus! She played Mrs. Claus again in The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause in 2006. Years later, she returned to the role for the Disney+ series The Santa Clauses, which started in 2022.

Elizabeth has had many memorable roles on TV. From 2000 to 2001, she had a recurring role on the medical drama ER.
In 2006, she joined the cast of the hit show Lost as Juliet Burke. This role made her very well-known, and she was on the show for four seasons.
After Lost, Elizabeth became the main actress in the ABC series V, a science-fiction show about aliens. This show ran from 2009 to 2011.
In 2012, she joined another popular show, Revolution, playing Rachel Matheson. This series ended in 2014. Later that year, she played the Snow Queen in the fantasy series Once Upon a Time.

Elizabeth Mitchell married improvisation actor Chris Soldevilla in 2004. They had a son in 2005. They lived together on Bainbridge Island, Washington. The couple later separated in 2013.

Elizabeth Mitchell has been recognized for her acting. She won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television in 2008 for her role in Lost. She was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series in 2010 for her appearance in the Lost series finale.
