Eugene Clark (born December 3, 1951) is an American-Canadian character actor and a former football player. He is known for his roles in movies and TV shows, and also for playing professional football.

Early life and education
Eugene Clark was born in Tampa, Florida, a city in the United States. When he was younger, he went to Riverside Polytechnic High School.
Career highlights
Football career
Before becoming a full-time actor, Eugene Clark was a talented football player. He played college football at UCLA, where he was an offensive guard. An offensive guard is a player who blocks for the quarterback and running backs.
Clark was recognized as one of the best players in his conference in 1974. He was even chosen by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1975 NFL draft. Even though he didn't play in the National Football League, he did play for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 1977 and 1978.
Acting career
Eugene Clark has had many different acting roles. He is known for playing Sid Gomez in the 1990s science fiction TV show William Shatner's Tek War.
He has also appeared in several other TV shows, including Night Heat, RoboCop: Prime Directives, The Twilight Zone, and Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye. He even had a small role in Trailer Park Boys: The Movie.
On stage, Clark played the important role of Mufasa in The Lion King musical in Ontario for two years.
One of his most famous movie roles was playing "Big Daddy," the main zombie, in George A. Romero's horror film Land of the Dead. He also appeared in the film Man in the Mirror: The Michael Jackson Story.
