Eva Krížiková (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈeʋa ˈkriːʐikɔʋaː]; born July 15, 1934 – died March 31, 2020) was a famous Slovak actress. She was known for her roles in both films and plays. Many people called her one of the greatest entertainers in Slovakia. She was even known as The First Lady of Slovak Humor. Besides her movie roles, she appeared in over 500 TV shows and productions.
Eva Krížiková's Acting Journey
Eva Krížiková had a long and successful career in acting. She started her journey in 1952. Her first role was a small part in a film called The Mountains Are Stirring. This movie was directed by Paľo Bielik.
First Big Roles
Soon after, Eva got her first main role. This was in the film Friday the 13th (1953), also directed by Bielik. Even though she only acted in 18 feature films, she was very busy. She appeared in more than 500 TV productions. This included 133 TV films and many TV series.
