What Is the Story About?
The show follows a group of dinosaurs who become super warriors. These heroes include a Tyrannosaurus, a Triceratops, a Stegosaurus, and a Pteranodon. They were changed by an alien criminal named Argor Zardok. But they decided to fight against him!
The Extreme Dinosaurs then battle Argor's other group of warriors, the evil Raptors. The Raptors want to cause global warming on Earth. They believe making the Earth much hotter will make it more comfortable for dinosaurs. The Extreme Dinosaurs must stop them from changing our planet's climate.
Meet the Characters
The Extreme Dinosaurs Team
These are the good guys, fighting to protect Earth from the Raptors.
- T-Bone (voiced by Scott McNeil) – He is a Tyrannosaurus and the brave leader of the team. T-Bone always focuses on their main goal, even when others get sidetracked. His special move is the "Saurian Stomp," which shakes the ground! T-Bone is light yellow and wears cool black boots and dark green pants.
- Spike (voiced by Cusse Mankuma) – A Triceratops with one broken horn. Spike is the team's martial arts expert and also loves to cook! Even though he's eager to fight, he enjoys gardening in his free time. Spike is iceberg blue and wears brown shorts.
- Stegz (voiced by Sam Vincent) – This Stegosaurus is the team's tech genius. He's also the most thoughtful of the group. Stegz can curl his body into a powerful saw blade, using the plates on his back to cut through things. He is apple green and wears purple shorts and black boots.
- Bullzeye (voiced by Jason Gray-Stanford) – A funny Pteranodon who loves to crack jokes. His main weapon is a super loud, ear-splitting shriek! Bullzeye can be a bit lazy and sometimes buys things without thinking. He is maroon red and wears yellow pants and black shoes.
- Hard Rock (voiced by Blu Mankuma) – An Ankylosaurus who joins the team later. He comes from another world where dinosaurs are like people. Hard Rock is a very peaceful character. He is tan and wears red pants with grey boots.
The Evil Raptors
The Velociraptors, or Raptors, are the main bad guys. They want to take over Earth or change its climate to make it super hot, just how they like it.
- Bad Rap (voiced by Garry Chalk) – The leader of the Raptors. He is orange with a yellow stripe on his tail and a metal brace on his mouth. Bad Rap's biggest goal is to make Earth's weather like it was in the Mesozoic Era (the time of dinosaurs).
- Haxx (voiced by Lee Tockar) – A mahogany-colored Raptor with blades that pop out from his wrists. His tail is a spinning drill! Haxx is very skilled in fighting, but he isn't the smartest. He wears pink shorts.
- Spittor (voiced by Terry Klassen) – He is the brainy one of the Raptors. Spittor is mulberry-purple and carries a tank of different liquids. He can spray these liquids from nozzles on his hands, tail, and mouth.

The Toy Line
The Extreme Dinosaurs TV show was based on a toy line made by Mattel in 1996. These toys were first called "Dino Vengers." The toy story was a bit different from the TV show. In the toy story, college teens turned into dinosaurs!
The main toys were T-Bone, Bullzeye, Spike, Stegz, and Hard Rock. Their enemies in the toy line were Bad Rap, Haxx, and Spittor. Later, Mattel made "Dino Vision" toys, which let you see through the dinosaur's eyes. There were also "War Paint" versions and different colored toys. The Extreme Dinosaurs toys were also a spin-off from another popular Mattel toy line that became a TV show, Street Sharks.
