Féchy is a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It is found in the Morges area of the canton of Vaud. This part of Switzerland, called Romandy, speaks French.

History of Féchy

Féchy was first written about in the year 1188. Back then, it was known as Fescheio.

Féchy covers an area of about 2.7 square kilometers (about 1 square mile). A large part of this land, around 70%, is used for farming. About 7% of the area is covered by forests. The rest of the land, about 23%, has buildings and roads.

The town is made up of two main parts. These are located on either side of a road called Vy d'Etraz. This road connects the towns of Nyon and Aubonne. Féchy also includes smaller areas like La Crausaz, Le Saugey, Féchy-Dessus, and a newer area called Les Cassivettes.
