Trocon Markous Robert Jr. (born November 20, 1989), known as FKi 1st, is an American music artist. He is a rapper, singer, songwriter, DJ, and record producer. He first became famous as half of the production team FKi. This group was based in Atlanta, Georgia. He formed FKi in 2007 with fellow producer SauceLordRich.
Together, FKi produced many hit songs for hip hop and R&B artists. These songs appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Some famous tracks include "Watch Out" by 2 Chainz. They also produced "Make It Rain" and "Bring It Back" for Travis Porter. Another big hit was "Weekend" by Mac Miller, which sold millions of copies.
As a solo artist, FKi 1st has also worked on many popular songs. He helped produce "Work" for Iggy Azalea in 2013. In 2015, he co-produced "White Iverson" for Post Malone. He also helped write "Deja Vu" for Post Malone in 2016. In 2017, he worked on "Pick It Up" for Famous Dex.

Early Life and Music Beginnings
Before starting his music career, Trocon Roberts worked as a cashier. He and SauceLordRich grew up together in Atlanta. They discovered they both loved the same kind of music. This led them to create their own music production company, FKi. Both artists studied audio engineering at Full Sail University.
FKi soon began working with Collipark Music. There, they met the group Travis Porter. FKi produced their hit songs "Make it Rain" and "Bring it Back." They made these songs in a basement using simple equipment. In 2009, FKi shared a studio with other rising artists. These included Iggy Azalea and Natalie Sims.
In 2012, FKi met the famous EDM producer Diplo in Atlanta. They introduced him to Iggy Azalea. FKi then traveled to Los Angeles to work at Diplo's Mad Decent studios. They helped produce Azalea's TrapGold mixtape. FKi even opened for her during her TrapGold European tour.

Creating Hit Songs
In 2014, FKi 1st met Post Malone. Together, they created the song "White Iverson." This song was released online and quickly became a huge hit. It got over a million plays in just three weeks.
FKi 1st also produced many other well-known songs. These include "Watch Out" by 2 Chainz. He worked on "Weekend" by Mac Miller featuring Miguel. He also produced "Sloppy Toppy" by Travis Scott.
He also produced several songs for Lil Uzi Vert's first mixtape, Luv Is Rage. These songs include "Moist" and "Nuyork Nights at 21."
Touring and Awards
FKi 1st has also worked as a DJ at many events. He opened for Rita Ora in Los Angeles and Las Vegas in 2015. He also deejayed at Diplo's Mad Decent Block Party in several cities.
In 2016, FKi 1st released his own solo music project. It was an EP (Extended Play) called First Time For Everything. It featured artists like Post Malone and ILoveMakonnen.
He joined Diplo at the Coachella music festival in April. FKi 1st also went on tour with several big artists. He toured with Fetty Wap, Justin Bieber, and Post Malone.

Recent Projects
In 2018, FKi 1st started a series of albums called Good Gas. These albums featured artists like 2 Chainz and ASAP Ferg.
He released his album Tokyo Project in December 2019. In 2020, he produced songs for Don Toliver and Kash Doll. He also released a joint album called Afreaka with singer Victoria Kimani.
In 2021, the Street Dream Team album came out. It featured FKi 1st and other artists. He also released the song "Bushido" for the Fast and the Furious 9 movie soundtrack.
On June 1, 2022, FKi 1st released his album Last Player Alive. A special deluxe version of the album came out later. It featured guest artists like Kash Doll and Twista.
Musical Style
FKi 1st's music style mixes different genres. He creates both trap and EDM songs. He has even described his own style as being like a "black Diplo."
His production team, FKi, blends many sounds. They combine glitch hop, hip hop, drum and bass, and trap. Their unique sound was first heard on their mixtape Transformers n the Hood. This mixtape was presented by Diplo. FKi also produced all of Iggy Azalea's TrapGold mixtape. They were her official DJs for her European tour in 2012. FKi has also worked with other famous producers like Borgore and Flosstradamus.
