Fatimah bint Sa’d Al Āmri Al-Zahrani (Arabic: فاطمة بنت سعد العامري الزهراني) was a very important woman in history. She was a great-great-great-great-grandmother of the Islamic prophet Muhammad on his father's side. She was also his great-great-great-grandmother on his mother's side. Her family came from the ancient Zahran tribe. Her full name was Fatimah bint Sa’d bin Sail bin Khair bin Hamālah bin Oaf bin Ghanam bin Āmir bin Amro bin Gha’thamah bin Gha’thamah bin Yashkor bin Mobsher bin Sa’b bin Dahman bin Nasr bin Zahran bin Ka’ab bin Al-Harith bin Ka’ab bin Abdullah Mālik bin Nasr bin Azd.

Who Was Fatimah bint Sa’d?
Fatimah bint Sa’d was the daughter of Sa’d. Her family belonged to the Banu Āmir clan, which was part of the ancient Zahran tribe. This tribe lived in a region called Hejaz, specifically in a place known as Al-Baha.
Fatimah's Marriages and Children
Fatimah bint Sa’d married a man named Kilab ibn Murrah. They had two sons together. Their older son, Zuhrah ibn Kilab, became the founder of the Banu Zuhrah clan. Their younger son, Qusai ibn Kilab, became a very important leader. He was the first person from the Quraysh tribe to be in charge of the Ka'aba, a holy building in Mecca.
After Kilab ibn Murrah passed away, Fatimah married another man named Rabi‘ah ibn Haram. He was from the Bani Azra tribe. Rabi‘ah took Fatimah with him to a region called as-Sham. There, Fatimah gave birth to her third son, Darraj.
