The Fattail scorpion (also called fat-tailed scorpion) is a name for scorpions that belong to the group called Androctonus. This group of scorpions is known as one of the most dangerous in the world. They live in very dry places, like deserts and semi-deserts, in Africa and the Middle East.
Fattail scorpions are not too big, usually growing to about 4 inches long. Their sting can be very dangerous and sometimes even deadly to humans.
Where Fattail Scorpions Live
Fattail scorpions are found in many countries. You can see them in places like Armenia, Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. They also live in many other nearby countries in those regions.
