Genevieve Knight Hannelius (born December 22, 1998) is an American actress, singer, and YouTube star. She first started acting in the TV show Surviving Suburbia in 2009.

She became well-known for her roles on Disney Channel. These included Sonny with a Chance and Good Luck Charlie. She gained a lot of fans as Avery Jennings in the Disney Channel sitcom Dog with a Blog.

Genevieve also voiced Rosebud in the Air Buddies film series. For this role, she won a Young Artist Award in 2012. Later, she starred as Christa Carlyle in the crime series American Vandal.

Early Life and Education

Genevieve Hannelius was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Her parents are Eric and Karla Hannelius. Her father is from Sweden.

When she was three, her family moved to Yarmouth, Maine. At age nine, they moved to Los Angeles so she could follow her dream of acting. She studied at the Young Actor's Studio in Los Angeles.

She finished high school at Sierra Canyon School in 2017. In 2021, she graduated from Sarah Lawrence College. In early 2022, Genevieve moved to New York City, New York.

As a child, Genevieve performed in theater plays. She played Madeline in Madeline's Rescue in 2006. She also played Jenny in Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.

Her first TV role was Courtney Patterson in Surviving Suburbia. She played the daughter of actor Bob Saget.

In 2011, she was chosen for a main role in a pilot for a High School Musical spin-off. However, the show was not made into a full series.

In 2014, Genevieve launched her own nail-wrap app called "Make Me Nails." She said she wanted to make nail art easier for young people.
