Story of the Santa Pups
The movie begins with Mrs. Claus giving birth to four cute puppies. Their names are Hope, Jingle, Charity, and Noble. Four months later, each Santa Pup has a unique personality.
- Hope is always ready for action but sometimes forgets to be careful.
- Jingle loves to sing, but her tunes are often off-key.
- Charity is still learning how to share with others.
- Noble likes to pretend he is the leader. He often gets his sisters into trouble.
At school, Noble asks Eli and Eddy if they can get their own magic crystals. They learn that to earn a crystal, they must understand the true meaning of Christmas. The Santa Pups then visit the Great Christmas Icicle cave. Here, they discover how magic works. They also see how the icicle's Christmas magic powers the special crystals.
They check a spirit map and see that Christmas spirit is very high in Pineville, USA. This town is in Montana. They learn that a kind ambassador named Michelle Reynolds recently passed away there.
Trouble in Pineville
In Pineville, everyone loves Christmas, especially Thomas and his 8-year-old daughter Sarah. Thomas is Michelle's husband. However, their 12-year-old son, Carter, has lost his Christmas spirit. He became sad and distant after his mother passed away.
Mrs. Claus plans to go to Pineville to find a new Santa Claus ambassador. But Noble has his own idea. He secretly takes Eddy's magic crystal collar. He plans to fly to Pineville to prove that he and his sisters are ready for their own crystals.
Once in Pineville, Noble starts granting wishes. First, he helps a girl named Taylor skate really well. Then, he helps another girl named Sally get her two front teeth. But then, Carter, feeling upset, wishes for the Christmas spirit to disappear. Noble accidentally grants this terrible wish.
Saving Christmas Spirit
Carter's wish affects everyone in Pineville. People start losing their kindness and Christmas spirit. The Santa Pups meet a new friend, Baxter. Baxter's owner, Jeb Gibson, is a dog catcher. Because of Carter's wish, Jeb loses his kindness towards animals. He catches the Santa Pups and takes them to the animal shelter.
The Santa Pups explain that if they do not get the crystal back and undo the wish, Christmas will be in big trouble. They try to get the crystal back with Hope's help. But Hope is not careful and accidentally wakes up Brutus, a gruff bulldog. Brutus explains his life has been hard because his owner lost the Christmas spirit. The Santa Pups promise to ask Santa to take Brutus off the Naughty List.
Mrs. Claus, Carter, Sarah, the pups, and three sisters named Agnes, Dorothy, and Blue work together. They try to bring the Christmas spirit back to Pineville. They go on the radio and convince everyone to act normally again. Carter then wishes for the Christmas spirit to last forever all over the world. This allows the pups to finally reverse the bad wish.
Noble gives Eddy his magic crystal collar back. Then, the Santa Pups, Eli, Eddy, and Mrs. Claus return to the North Pole. The movie ends with the Santa Pups, Eddy, and Eli singing about the true meaning of Christmas.
