Gavi is a small village located in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, India. It is well-known for its amazing variety of plants and animals. It also has beautiful rainforests. Gavi is a great place to visit if you love nature and wildlife!

Amazing Plants and Animals of Gavi
Gavi is home to thick evergreen forests. These forests are full of life! You can find many different animals here.
Some of the animals you might see include tigers, elephants, leopards, and bears. There are also Indian gaur (a type of wild cattle), sambar deer, barking deer, and mouse deer.
Other special animals living in Gavi are the lion-tailed macaque, Nilgiri langur, Nilgiri marten, and Malabar giant squirrel. More than 250 different kinds of birds also make Gavi their home!

Gavi has two main seasons:
- Summer: This season runs from February to April. During the day, temperatures can reach up to 28 °C (about 82 °F). At night, it gets cooler, dropping to around 20 °C (68 °F).
- Monsoon: The rainy season, or monsoon, is from June to August. Daytime temperatures are usually around 25 °C (77 °F). But at night, it can get quite cool, sometimes dropping to 10 °C (50 °F).
