Jelena Noura "Gigi" Hadid (/ˈdʒiːdʒi həˈdiːd/ jee-JEE-_-HƏ-deed; born April 23, 1995) is a famous American fashion model and TV personality. In 2016, she was named the International Model of the Year. This award came from the British Fashion Council. Gigi has appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine many times. She is also known as one of the "New Supers" by Models.com. Since 2017, Gigi has been one of the highest-paid models in the world.

Gigi was born in Los Angeles, California. She started her modeling career when she was very young. She first modeled for Baby Guess. Later, she signed with IMG Models in 2013. Her first big fashion show was at New York Fashion Week in 2014. Gigi has worked on many high fashion campaigns. She is also a spokesperson for Maybelline makeup.

In January 2017, Gigi and her sister Bella protested in New York City. This was after a government order that affected many people.

Gigi announced in May 2018 that she would work with UNICEF. She wanted to help children around the world. On August 25, she went on her first mission with UNICEF to Bangladesh. She visited their programs there.
