Gloriana de Jesús Villalobos Vega (born 20 August 1999) is a talented footballer from Costa Rica. She plays as a midfielder for Saprissa. Gloriana also plays for the Costa Rica women's national football team. She started playing for her country's senior team when she was only 14 years old, back in 2014.

Playing in College

In 2017, Gloriana joined the Florida State Seminoles team in the United States. She was recognized as one of the best new players in her league. Gloriana played in all 21 games for Florida State. She scored 1 goal and helped with 2 assists. In September 2019, Gloriana left Florida State to play for Saprissa again.

Professional Football Career

Gloriana started her professional career very young. She joined her local club, Saprissa, in 2012 when she was just 12 years old.

She played with Saprissa in 2019. Her team reached the final match but lost to Alajuela. After that season, she signed with Club Sport Herediano. She played for Herediano from 2020 to 2022. In 2022, she returned to play for Saprissa.

Playing for Costa Rica

Gloriana has played for Costa Rica's national teams at different levels.

Youth National Teams

In January 2014, before she turned 15, Gloriana helped the Costa Rica Under-20 team qualify for the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. She played in all five games during the qualifying tournament.

Later in March 2014, Costa Rica hosted the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. Gloriana became very well-known in her country during this event. She played in all three games for Costa Rica. This was the first time Costa Rica hosted a FIFA event.

At the Under-20 Women's World Cup in Canada in August 2014, Gloriana played every minute of all three games. However, Costa Rica's team was eliminated in the group stage.

Senior National Team

In May 2014, Gloriana was called to play for the senior national team for the first time. This was during the qualifying games for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. Gloriana scored a goal in the final group game, which helped Costa Rica move forward. She also played in a playoff game where Costa Rica won 3–0, helping them advance to the Pan American Games.
