Goce Sedloski (born on April 10, 1974) is a famous football manager and former player from North Macedonia. He is currently the manager of the Macedonian First Football League club Vardar.
During his playing days, Goce was a strong defender. He was also the captain of the Macedonia national team. He played in 100 games for his country, which is a big achievement!

Goce Sedloski's Playing Career
Goce Sedloski started his professional football journey in 1994 at Pobeda Prilep. He played there for two seasons. After that, he moved to Hajduk Split in Croatia.
After a season and a half, he went to England to play for Sheffield Wednesday. He then returned to Croatia to join Dinamo Zagreb in January 1999. He played for Dinamo until June 2004.
Later, Goce played for the Japanese club Vegalta Sendai for half a season. He then returned to Dinamo Zagreb in January 2005. In July 2005, he joined the Turkish club Diyarbakirspor. He played there for one season before signing a two-year contract with SV Mattersburg in Austria. He played for Mattersburg for five years and ended his playing career in 2011.
Goce had his greatest success while playing for Dinamo Zagreb. He helped them win the Croatian First League three times. He also won the Croatian Cup three times and the Croatian Super Cup twice.
Playing for His Country
Goce Sedloski first played for the Macedonia national team in March 1996. It was a friendly match against Malta. He played a total of 100 games for his country and scored 8 goals by 2010.
On August 16, 2006, Goce made history. He was the first player to score a goal in the Euro 2008 qualifying tournament. This happened when Macedonia beat Estonia 1–0 in Tallinn. His last game for the national team was a friendly match against Azerbaijan in May 2010.

After his playing career, Goce Sedloski became a football manager.
Early Coaching Roles
Goce started as an assistant coach for the Macedonian national team. He was also an interim (temporary) coach for them. He also worked as an assistant coach at the Austrian club SV Mattersburg.
Coaching Turnovo
In 2013, Goce became the new manager of the Macedonian club Turnovo. In his only season there, he led them to the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round. They even beat a Lithuanian club, Sūduva Marijampolė, in the first round. They were later knocked out by Hajduk Split.
He also guided Turnovo to a great second-place finish in the Macedonian First League.
Coaching Vardar
Goce Sedloski coached the Macedonian club FK Vardar. He joined them in 2015 and left in August 2017. With Vardar, he helped the team win two league titles and one supercup. He returned to coach Vardar again in 2024.
Coaching Riga
From January to May 2018, Goce was the manager of the Latvian club Riga. During his time there, his team won 4 out of 9 matches.
Coaching Široki Brijeg
On August 31, 2018, Goce became the manager of Široki Brijeg, a club in the Bosnian Premier League. His first league win with them was a 2–0 home victory against FK Zvijezda 09.
In the 2018–19 season, Goce led Široki Brijeg to the final of the Bosnian Cup. They lost to FK Sarajevo in the final. In the league, Široki Brijeg finished in 3rd place, which meant they qualified for the UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds.
On July 23, 2019, Goce decided to leave his role as manager of Široki Brijeg. This happened after a league loss and two losses in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers.
Other Coaching Roles
Goce also coached Dinamo Zagreb II in 2020. From 2021 to 2023, he managed Shkupi. In 2023, he had short spells coaching Vllaznia and Rabotnički.
