The Golden Lamb Inn is the oldest hotel in Ohio. It first opened in 1803 in Lebanon, which is the main town of Warren County. The building you see today was mostly built in 1815. It still looks like an old colonial building.
The inn is called the Golden Lamb because a picture of a lamb was on its sign. This helped people who could not read know what the building was. Over the years, it had other names like the Ownly Hotel and the Lebanon House. On January 12, 1978, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. This means it is an important historical site.

Sarah Stubbs was the daughter of an inn caretaker. She lived a long life, but some believe her ghost is that of a child. People think she might have loved her childhood at the inn very much. There is even a room at the inn called "Sarah's room" [1]. It is said to contain some of her belongings.
