What is the Story About?
This game continues the story from the Goosebumps book, One Day at HorrorLand. The main character, Lizzy, calls you for help one night. Her brother, Luke, and their friend, Clay, have vanished! Strange things have been happening at her house. The only clue Lizzy has is the old tickets from their last visit to HorrorLand, a super scary theme park.
When you and Lizzy go back to her house, the tickets suddenly glow. Poof! You and Lizzy are pulled right back into HorrorLand. Now you're stuck! You have no choice but to search for Luke and Clay. You also need to find a way out of this haunted park. As you explore, you learn about the park's mysterious past. You also discover its creator, Madison Storm. He built the park based on his own creepy childhood memories.
Finding Friends and Escaping HorrorLand
You'll travel through the park, facing many challenges. You'll find Luke and Clay, gather important items, and try to avoid scary monsters. Eventually, you discover that Madison Storm has also kidnapped Lizzy and Luke's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris! He wants to destroy their family. This is partly a show for the monsters. It's also revenge because the family escaped the park before.
Clay manages to reach the monster generator. This machine attracts all the monsters to the park. He overloads it, making the monsters flee in a panic. But in the chaos, Madison grabs the Morris kids and Clay. He ties them up, planning for them to be blown up with the park! Luckily, you manage to save everyone. You stop the park from exploding and defeat Madison all at once.
However, Clay finds a remote control for the park. He presses a button, which starts the park's self-destruction! The kids quickly escape just before it blows up.
Different Endings
The game has two possible endings:
- Good Ending: The parents make it home safely. They greet the kids, who are helped by their new neighbor, "Maddy."
- Bad Ending: The parents fall into a pool. When the kids get home, they find their parents have turned into Horrors!
