Jean-Paul Manoux (born on June 8, 1969) is an American actor, director, and writer. He is well-known for his roles in many Disney TV shows. He played S.T.A.N. the android in Aaron Stone. He was also Curtis the Caveman and Vice Principal Hackett in Phil of the Future. Plus, he voiced Kuzco in The Emperor's New School. Before becoming famous, Manoux was a contestant on popular game shows. These included Jeopardy!, Family Feud, and Wheel of Fortune. He also starred in the Canadian TV show Spun Out.

Early Life and Education
Jean-Paul Manoux was born in Fresno, California, on June 8, 1969. His family background includes Armenian and French heritage. His Armenian grandparents had to leave their home because of the Armenian Genocide. He grew up in Santa Barbara, California, and was the oldest of seven children.
Schooling and Training
Manoux went to Thacher School in Ojai, California. Later, he attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. After college, he moved to Hollywood. There, he studied improv and sketch comedy. He trained at places like L.A. Theatresports and The Groundlings School.
Acting Career Highlights
Jean-Paul Manoux has had a busy career in TV and movies. One of his first regular roles was on The Wayne Brady Show. From there, he appeared in many TV shows and commercials. You might have seen him in ads for Got Milk? or Fruit of the Loom.
Notable TV Roles
Manoux played Dr. Dustin Crenshaw in later seasons of the medical drama ER. He also made guest appearances on many other popular shows. These include How I Met Your Mother, Angel, Smallville, and Scrubs. He also had recurring roles on shows like Veep and CSI: Vegas.
Voice Acting and Movie Appearances
Manoux has lent his voice to several animated movies and TV shows. He voiced Scrappy Rex in Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. Most famously, he is the voice of Kuzco in many Disney projects. These include House of Mouse, Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse, and The Emperor's New School. He also appeared in two films by director Michael Bay. He was a man interviewed on TV in Transformers. In The Island, he played a character named Seven Foxtrot.
Directing and Writing
Beyond acting, Manoux has also directed episodes for several TV shows. He directed for Aaron Stone, Phil of the Future, and Spun Out. He has also written for The Wayne Brady Show. He co-wrote a play called Tights on a Wire.
