Hsu Kuang-han (born October 31, 1990), also known as Greg Hsu or Greg Han, is a popular actor and singer from Taiwan. He is famous for his roles in TV shows and movies.

Greg has been nominated for important awards like the Golden Bell Awards for his acting. These awards are a big deal in Taiwan for TV shows. He was recognized for his work in Have You ever Fallen in Love, Miss Jiang? and Someday or One Day. He also appeared in other well-known series like Love of Sandstorm and Nowhere Man.

On the big screen, he starred in films such as A Sun and My Love. In 2020, he was even listed among the top celebrities in China by Forbes magazine.

Early life and education

Greg Hsu was born in Taiwan on October 31, 1990. He went to school in New Taipei City and Taipei. After high school, he attended Chinese Culture University. There, he studied Mass Communication and earned a degree in information management. He was even classmates with another actor, Sunny Sun.

Career

Greg Hsu started his acting journey in 2013 with a Malaysian TV show called Dive into Love. In 2015, he decided to improve his acting skills. He joined Q Place, a special drama academy run by director Wang Shaudi.

After his training, he appeared in popular TV series. These included Love of Sandstorm and Have You ever Fallen in Love, Miss Jiang?. For his role in the latter, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 52nd Golden Bell Awards.

Greg also acted in Nowhere Man, a show on Netflix. He was also in the movie A Sun, which was considered for an Oscar. In 2019, he became a lead actor in the very popular series Someday Or One Day. This show made him famous across Asia. He was nominated for Best Leading Actor at the 55th Golden Bell Awards for this role.

In 2020, Greg released his first music single, "Yesterday No More." The song quickly became number one on the KKBox music charts in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Greg Hsu is also a brand ambassador for famous companies. On July 14, 2022, the Italian luxury fashion brand Fendi announced that Greg would represent their brand.

Personal life

On August 21, 2024, Greg Hsu shared on social media that he had joined the Taiwanese military. This was to complete his 1-year mandatory service. He started as a military trainee on August 20, 2024, at Cheng-gong Ridge Camp in Taichung, Taiwan. His active service began on September 13, 2024, in Nantou City, Taiwan.
